Eligibility
- Nepalese citizen of 22 years and above having a savings account maintained in the Bank with regular transactions
- Must be a registered user of Mobile Money
- Credit limit is based on Data Analysis of customer’s account transaction behaviors
- Permissible eligibility and Credit limit determinants:
- Transaction history and turnover amount
- Monthly balance and continuity with utilization
- Status of existing loans, Visa Credit Cards, and history of previous loans in the Bank
- Income pattern and stability
- Repayment history and credit behavior within the Bank
- Consistent usage of Mobile Money services (bill payments, top-ups, etc.)

FAQs
ON Card is a virtual Credit card – paperless and fully digital, issued by Laxmi Sunrise through the Money Mobile app, in collaboration with Fonepay Payment Services Pvt. Ltd.
Pre-approved Customers: Eligible customers will be identified through a data analytics engine called ‘Score Card Model’. They can apply directly through the Mobile Money app. If eligible, the card will be issued instantly with a pre-approved limit.
Empaneled/Whitelisted Customers: These customers must visit the nearest branch, submit an application, and undergo KYC and income assessment as per product guidelines before issuance.
Customer you see the ON Card icon in your Mobile Money app, you are eligible to apply. If not, please visit your nearest branch to apply manually.
ON Card can be used for QR-based transactions at any merchant within the Fonepay Network in Nepal. It cannot be used for POS machine, E-commerce, or ATM withdrawal.
No cash withdrawal is allow. ON Card can only be used for merchant payments via QR within the Fonepay network.
Any Nepalese citizen maintaining account with Laxmi Sunrise Bank, subject to the following conditions:
- Employed in organizations regulated by NRB, SEBON, Insurance Board, government entities, diplomatic missions, donor agencies, INGOs, schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, airlines, 5-star hotels, international chain restaurants, multinational companies, or cable car companies.
- Existing individual loan customers with satisfactory repayment history.
- Customers with significant savings account turnover and transaction records.
- Business owners or employees of existing Laxmi Sunrise Bank borrowers.
The minimum limit is NPR 10,000 and the maximum limit is NPR 500,000.
Yes. The customer’s email address must be updated in the Bank’s Core Banking System (CBS). Updates in Mobile Money alone are not sufficient.
If the email address is not updated in the Bank’s Core Banking System (CBS), eligible customers may still see the ON card option in their mobile banking app. However, during the enrollment process, they will receive a pop-up message stating: “provided details are invalid. Please check and try again.” To update the email address, please visit the nearest branch of the bank.
Yes. Customers can partially repay or prepay any amount at any time.
Yes. If you initially opted for a lower limit and wish to increase it, you must visit the branch and submit a request to review and enhance the limit.
ON Card offers up to 45 days of interest-free credit.
The ON Card is valid for 5 years from the date of issuance.
If you are eligible through data analytics, then you do not need to visit the branch: you can simply apply via your mobile money. However, customers not eligible through this method must visit the branch and submit the required documents.
No, not for data analytics-approved customers. However, branch applicants must provide income-related and KYC documents.
Customers aged between 22 and 65 years are eligible to apply.
Your primary account will be automatically debited on the due date to settle the outstanding amount.
No. The due date is currently fixed and cannot be changed.
If the due amount is not settled on time, penal interest will be charged as per the Bank’s policy.
Customer can fully settle their ON Card balance directly through Mobile Money app by repaying the utilize amount. After settlement, please visit your nearest branch and submit a written application to cancel the card.

Charges may include joining fees, annual fees, interest charges, late payment fees and penal interest as per the Bank’s tariff schedule.
